L’ Orange Wine Festival è un Festival Internazionale di vini che vengono prodotti con una macerazione prolungata.
Come da tradizione, Venerdì 28 aprile (ultimo venerdì di aprile) l’ Orange Wine Festival attirerà estimatori di vini internazionali naturali.
Si incontreranno in piazza Manzioli e nel Palazzo Manzioli, nel centro di Isola, antica città di pescatori, accanto al mare.
60 produttori di Orange Wine, provenienti da 5 diversi stati europei, presenteranno i loro vini accompagnati da prelibate specialità culinarie. Gli abbinamenti verranno consigliati da alcuni rinomati ristoratori che condividono la filosofia di questi produttori di vino.
L’Orange Wine Festival ha reso Isola uno dei più importanti luoghi di incontro a livello europeo sulla produzione sostenibile degli Orange Wine.
Venerdì 28 aprile, dalle 14 alle 21, il 6° Orange Wine Festival ospiterà quasi 60 produttori di vino provenienti da Austria, Croazia, Georgia, Italia e Slovenia.
Per essere in grado di partecipare, ogni produttore di vino deve confermare la conformità dei vini, che deve rispettare lo standard del festival (Dichiarazione di conformità).
I principali requisiti standard includono l’agricoltura sostenibile, la macerazione prolungata e la fermentazione spontanea, il che significa minimo intervento enologico, nonché un basso tenore di zolfo.
L’Orange Wine Festival continua ad attirare nuovi appassionati ogni anno: sempre più produttori di vino decidono di tornare alle radici e abbandonare le convenzionali procedure di produzione del vino. Tra di loro, ci sono molti giovani che vogliono continuare il lavoro dei loro genitori e dei nonni.
L’ Orange Wine Festival presenta con orgoglio anche i vini georgiani, i pionieri di quest’antica tradizione.
